The project

The app that follows a group trip through every stage: decide together how to travel and where to stay, travel with the agenda, map and documents at hand, and come home to a chronicle of the trip.

A group trip runs on endless chats, spreadsheets and screenshots of tickets. TravelPack puts everything in one place and adapts to the moment: based on the dates, the app changes its sections and priorities, moving from planning to the trip in progress to the closed chapter.

While planning, travellers propose transport and accommodation, vote for their favourite and the organiser confirms. AI suggests what to pack based on the weather, searches for real transport and accommodation options and builds the itinerary; tickets and bookings are scanned to fill in the details automatically, and receipts to log expenses. During the trip come the day’s agenda, the map, shared expenses, group kitties and a currency converter. Back home, photos, a photo book and the trip chronicle remain.

The project includes the Flutter mobile app, translated into 12 languages, a React web app and a NestJS backend with Prisma, real-time chat with Socket.IO, push notifications, Stripe payments and AI features built on models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google.
